Buenos Aires

Impressive sculpture in the government district, fenced, to keep it from being tagged or loitered on.

On a different day, I found a place that I think a lot of people in Buenos Aires don't even know exists.

Near the Brazilan Embassy, where I applied for my visa for that country

In this part of town, where embassies do not need to be fenced, even the homeless do not congregate here.

There was a museum of antique weapons, but even more impressive...
..a little girl with the most beautiful red curls I have seen in a very long time.

Here is one thing I loved about the city, this one in particular. There were buffets like this all over town, catering to the business and office people. Mostly run by Chinese, but some by Argentinians. The food was excellent, the variety wonderful, and inexpensive, if you chose wisely.

In a way, over several days, I am making a grand circle around my location in Buenos Aires, which also took me to this harbor area
